Oh, the mystery! Aren't you going to tell us who sent you the special gift and what it was? I've been doing that like crazy. I had so many surprises last week I just put them right out there on my blog.
Uh oh. Is that bad manners? Probably. Maybe I'm clueless. Anyway, I'm happy for you, receiving something special like that.

Your comment on my blog was so nice that I had to come over here and let you know. It's so nice to be missed; I miss you, too. Our MT group hasn't met in weeks and weeks, and it doesn't feel real jelled right now. (or gelled? Heck if I know. That doesn't look right.)
I know this time in your life is probably useful for teaching you all sorts of great lessons, but sometimes I think character development is overrated. I hope things look up VERY soon! :)
